Usually when I start cell division, I have my students do a Mitosis cut-n-paste activity where they match pictures with descriptions and labels. This year, I found a nifty Mitosis Flip Book (courtesy of ScienceSpot.net) that I’m going to use. I think it will help them understand the process of mitosis better because they will have to identify how the centrioles and spindle move the chromosomes/chromatids.
